A Few Answers to "Answers In Genesis"
By Don Elmore
June 19, 2011
The June 11, 2011 Saturday Enquirer had another story about the “Answers in Genesis’” new park in nearby Grant County, Kentucky. The headline was: Ark Work Could Start Soon; with the secondary headline being: Tax rebates pave way for $172M attraction. It was on page one, right at the top of the first page; and it continued on to page A12.
One wonders why this organization gets such good promotions from the newspaper. And this story is not unique; there have been many stories about “Answers in Genesis” throughout the years. Many of them, front page stories!
I remember when they only had a book and cassette tape room in a very small space in a small strip mall, located at their headquarters in Florence, Kentucky. In around twenty years they have built a Museum (worth over $30 Million and totally paid for) and now plan to build a $172 Million park with full-size replica of Noah’s Ark, a Walled City with retail, food and themed venues, a children’s play area, a Tower of Babel with a special-effects theater and a Noah’s Animals area with a petting zoo. Other exhibits include a Journey Through History themed attraction, a First-Century Village, an aviary and a special-events area for large gatherings. Both of these attractions are/will be in northern Kentucky.

Racemixing
The baby boomer generation, if they were raised in Christian homes, were taught “Thou shalt not kill,” “Thou shalt not steal,” “Thou shalt not bear false witness,” but ‘Thou shalt not race mix” was nowhere to be found in the Ten Commandments, even though it’s right there. In the 1950’s racial matters were taking on a new perspective from influential jews. It was a given at that time that God made White people distinct from all the other races of the earth and that He separated us by kind and geography. The jews had to influence the pulpits of America to influence the people into a new way of looking at other races. That influence was egalitarian, meaning racial equality and “Love thy neighbor” took on a whole new dimension by redefining biblical terms that pertained only to Israel, the people of the Bible.
The conceptual contrast can be seen between our own Bible and the jewish Talmud. Lev. 19:18 says, “Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear a grudge against the children of thy people, but shall love your neighbor as yourself.” The context is racial i.e. “Thy people.” The jewish Tanach, on the other hand translates it quite differently, “You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against your countrymen, love your fellow as yourself.” The context is now geographical and eliminates “neighbor” as your own kind.
The divinity of Jesus Christ is hated by the jews, because His genealogy, back to the first White man, Adam, was a seedline of racial purity. The genealogy of jews is an ancestry of mingled seed whether it is traced as far back as Cain or to Esau or to Eastern European Ashkenazi jews, whom 95% of jewry are connected to and come from the Turko-Mongol Khazars of the 9th Century AD.

Scripture Reading: Acts 20:16
We learned last week about one phase of the Roman Catholic Church Menace. They substituted one Simon Peter, “Simon the Interpreter,” for another Simon Peter, the apostle of Jesus Christ; as their first pope, a so called 'apostolic succession.' This is an important doctrine, for if they are wrong on this—then their church is false.
They are wrong; for Peter is never in the Bible mentioned about being in Italy, but was a minister to the circumcised (the Judahites, the House of Judah) not the uncircumcised (the Gentiles, the House of Israel), which were the ones who were mainly in Rome. But there was a Simon who had a statue made of him in the Pantheon with the title of Holy God; who was buried in a pagan cemetery in Rome and who was well known as a sorcerer and a worker in witchcraft—this is their first pope.
But what about the holidays that the Roman Catholic Church celebrates; for they celebrate, among others, the big three:
Missionary Kid Part 1
By Sandi B.
I was born and raised a missionary kid (MK), but I never allowed myself to really think about it until last year (when I was 54 years old) — believe it or not. That’s because we were told from as early as I can remember that we must not do or say anything that would reflect negatively on Dad. I was not sure I could honestly look at my life without dishonoring my Dad or God…. When I let myself think, it was like a dam broke….
On October 6, 1953 a little baby girl was born to the Nelson family in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, Philippines. That was me. I was one of five children. As a baby I had bad colic and cried for the first three months — so I was often placed in another room at the other end of the house to cry by myself, or the house girls (maids) would put me on their backs while they skated our wooden floor with their feet on coconut shells, which gave the floor a beautiful shine and kept me quiet at the same time. Once the colic passed, I became a very outgoing, happy little girl.
I grew up in a simple, rural settling way out in the province — sort of like Little House on the Prairie gone native. My parents were a doctor and nurse medical team. We lived on a compound of missionaries who all worked at my Dad’s hospital or in the area doing other things. Of course, all my friends were the children of the other missionaries on the compound.
Universalism On Trial - Part 3

Scripture Reading: Matthew 13:35-43
Have you ever wondered what the world would be like if there weren’t any lies? A world where truth is the only way. Bearing false witness would no longer be a means to an end. From the time a child is able to walk, the programming and processing has begun, whereby they are lied to and it continues throughout their lives in school, churches, government and media. There are some who escape the matrix of deceptions and become knowledgeable of the truth, but they dare not speak out lest they be persecuted. The rest of society lives in this ocean of disinformation. Since the majority of people believe in the prevailing body of lies, they assume that it is the truth. And hence, they make important life decisions that are all too often disastrous.
The trial against universalism will resume momentarily, but we shall keep a few things in mind before the closing remarks of the defense and the prosecution. The biggest enemy of mankind is time. James 4:14 says, “You don’t know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? It is a vapor that appears for awhile and then vanishes.” It is not within the power of all the creatures whom God has made to command one moment of what is to be the future. Our times are not in our own hands, but at the discretion of God. Our minds may be filled with the cares of this life and Providence will often confuse it. We are made in His image and all that we do and design intelligently must be done in humble submission to the God of intelligent design. God can and does place deterrents upon those who would boast that something is in their authority or of their own ability. God alone can keep us from our own devices and make our plans prosper when they are in accord with His will. “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

Scripture Reading: Joshua 24:31
In the Answers in Genesis booklet, “How Can I Become a Child of God?” they divided the small booklet into several divisions. For example, it starts out with the topic Creation, followed by Corruption, Confusion, Christ, Cross and the Consummation and then two pages entitled the same as the booklet. They make the same basic divisions in their museum.
In the page titled, Confusion, it makes two very big assumptions:
“Noah’s children and grandchildren disobeyed God after the Flood. God caused them to scatter from the Tower of Babel all over the earth by confusing their language. From these families:
- All the people groups of the world have come.
- But no matter where we live or what shade of skin color we have, we are all part of Adam and Eve’s family.
We are all disobedient to God. We all deserve to be separated from God forever. So we all need to be restored to a right relationship with God—to become part of God’s family” (labeling the two points are not in their booklet).
Then follows the quoting of Genesis 11:9 “Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of the earth.” On the latter half of the page is a picture of a young black boy with a young white boy.
That is the entire chapter on Confusion. It assumes that the flood that occurred at this time was world-wide and destroyed all life except the 8 people of Noah and his family. But the fact that there are more languages than pure races doesn’t bother them at all. In fact, according to Answers in Genesis, Adam and Eve were mid-brown in their pigmentation; so Noah and his three sons were the same: mid-brown.
According to their beliefs, all people groups (that is the two words that they use instead of the word, races) are descended from Noah and his three sons. Every one of every race is all descended from Noah and from Adam. So, all races were mid-brown from Adam to Noah until God scattered them from the Tower of Babel by confusing their language. They all left and went with the people of the same language to different parts of the earth which produced the new races of the black, white, and yellow people of the world. This change into different races, however, only lasted for a couple of hundred years, according to them, as it doesn’t happen anymore—there is no scripture given for this!
There is no history that can verify this position either.
Ark Work Could Start Soon
A Cincinnati Enquirer Article
This is how the article begins in the Saturday, June 11, 2011 Enquirer:
Groundbreaking for the $172 million Ark Encounter project could be as early as August, now that tax rebates for the attraction have been greenlighted.
The approval of incentives virtually assures the project will be built on the Grant County site identified by developers at a December press conference in Frankfort.
‘This was the site that we really liked and everything was predicated on getting this approval,’ said Mike Zovath, senior vice president for Answers in Genesis and project manager for Ark Encounter LLC.

This organization, “Answers in Genesis”, has offices in what we would call “white” communities, and is doing a valuable work in producing books and videos that counter the claims of evolutionists, although they basically teach a form of evolution themselves!
