Welcome to Sodom USA Part 4

The Wake-Up Herald

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof. Romans 13:11-14

Judge orders 'gay' agenda taught to Christian children

Rules kids need teachings to be 'engaged and productive citizens'

A federal judge in Massachusetts has ordered the "gay" agenda taught to Christians who attend a public school in Massachusetts, finding that they need the teachings to be "engaged and productive citizens."

U.S. District Judge Mark L. Wolf dismissed a civil rights lawsuit brought by David Parker, ordering that it is reasonable, indeed there is an obligation, for public schools to teach young children to accept and endorse homosexuality.

Wolf essentially adopted the reasoning in a brief submitted by a number of homosexual-advocacy groups, who said "the rights of religious freedom and parental control over the upbringing of children … would undermine teaching and learning…"

David and Tonia Parker and Joseph and Robin Wirthlin, who have children of school age in Lexington, Mass., brought the lawsuit. They alleged district officials and staff at Estabrook Elementary School Estabrook Elementary School violated state law and civil rights by indoctrinating their children about a lifestyle they, as Christians, teach is immoral.

"Wolf's ruling is every parent's nightmare. It goes to extraordinary lengths to legitimize and reinforce the 'right' (and even the duty) of schools to normalize homosexual behavior to even the youngest of children," said a statement from the pro-family group Mass Resistance.

"In the ruling, Wolf makes the absurd claim that normalizing homosexuality to young children is 'reasonably related to the goals of preparing students to become engaged and productive citizens in our democracy.' According to Wolf, this means teaching 'diversity' which includes 'differences in sexual orientation.'

"In addition, Wolf makes the odious statement that the Parkers' only options are (1) send their kids to a private school, (2) home-school their kids, or (3) elect a majority of people to the School Committee who agree with them. Can you imagine a federal judge in the Civil Rights era telling blacks the same thing – that if they can't be served at a lunch counter they should just start their own restaurant, or elect a city council to pass laws that reflect the U.S. Constitution?" the organization said.

Obama’s Safe Schools Czar Says

Teach Respect for Homosexuality in Kindergarten

(CNSNews.com) - The Obama administration’s safe schools czar, Kevin Jennings, has accused the Baptists, the Boy Scouts and sports fans of anti-gay bias, and he has advocated a special high school for gay teens as well as gay-straight alliance clubs for every high school in America.

Jennings, who was a prominent homosexual activist before being named director of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools at the U.S. Department of Education, also has called for kindergarteners to be taught to respect all sexual orientations, while insisting that “ex-gay messages” and “Christian values” are ‘misused to isolate or denigrate lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people" and have no place in the nation’s public schools.

“Our curriculum at kindergarten, and first grade, and second grade--every grade until students have graduated should be ‘you must respect every human being regardless of sexual orientation, regardless of gender identity, regardless of race or religion or any arbitrary distinctions we make about people,” Jennings said in the 2000 speech. “If we cannot teach this very basic lesson in our schools we will be very surprised at how hard it is for these students to learn French or English or math.”

In a February 2000 speech, Jennings predicted at a GLSEN conference that the cause of making homosexuality acceptable would succeed in elementary school. “Homosexuality will become more acceptable to students, especially elementary ones,” he said, according to an article in The Post-Standard of Syracuse, N.Y. “We are at a new moment in our history.”

Jennings, the son of a Baptist minister, has expressed his frustrations with Christians critical of homosexuality, and specifically with Southern Baptists.

US Army now warning Chaplains:

If you don't like the homosexual agenda, get out!

MassResistance, March 11, 2011 -Among the first casualties in the homosexualization of the US military caused by the repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" (DADT) are the military chaplains who still profess traditional Christian (or Jewish) belief. And it's starting right away. It's becoming clear that any open disagreement with homosexuality will not be tolerated.

The latest news from the Center For Military Readiness (CMR) is extremely disturbing. CMR, run by executive director Elaine Donnelly, is the best source for information on the effects of the culture wars and political correctness plaguing our US military forces. She's exposing the speed and thoroughness of the transformation of the military since the DADT repeal. Their goal right now is to beat any possible subversion of it from a Republican Congress.

She reports that the Army is implementing "three-tiered LGBT training" for military chaplains. Tier One has already begun. As Donnelly explains:

CMR has obtained copies of the “Tier One” training documents that the various services are already using to “re-educate” the troops. The training program for Army chaplains, in particular, makes it very clear that dissenters will have no option but to leave the service, if they are eligible and if they do not owe time to the Army.

Editor’s Comment: I first began sounding my trumpet warnings as a pastor in my national publication in the 1960’s that the sins of abortion and homosexuality, although still in their embryonic stage of national acceptance and practice, would soon be ‘legitimized’ by state and federal government unless the pastors and churches took a firm stand by declaring ‘Thus saith the Lord!’ on these subjects. Interestingly, my major critics and opponents were pastors who accused me of, among other things, ‘Mixing politics with religion,’ ‘being too negative,’ ‘a gloom peddler,’ and ‘a calamity howler.’ Sadly, critics of this persuasion still abound.

Well, here we are forty years+ later and what I warned would happen did happen. America is past flood stage in the acceptance, practice and legalization of these sins. My questions to the pastors and churches are: Do these sins trouble and grieve you? Do you weep for the daily murder of the 4000+ babies by abortion? Do you have any concern that Satan and those who work in concert with him are indoctrinating, brainwashing, and recruiting millions of children and youth through public/government schools beginning in kindergarten with the ‘homosexual agenda’? How often do you biblically preach/teach and inform/warn your congregants on these subjects?

And my question to professing Christians: What excuse do you have for being a member of or attending a ‘church’ where the ‘pastor’ refuses to biblically deal with these subjects?
